Good Burger & How Business Would Use Debt Collection Agencies

By Rob Sutter

It's amazing what little competition can do to businesses in the long run. It can not only bring about greater sales for either side but workers may just act out in ways that aren't typical of the industries. The fast food industry in particular was looked at in the kids movie entitled "Good Burger." As someone who watched the movie in his youth, I couldn't help but notice that some of the sketchy actions within should have called for debt collection agencies.

Mondo Burger is seen as the larger competition of Good Burger, though that did not stop the former from attempting to kill business for the latter at every turn. In one case, a few employees under Mondo Burger came inside of the competition's restaurant one night in order to inject shark position within the basin of sauce which was utilized for the burgers themselves. As one would be able to calculate, injecting the sauce in this state would cause people to fall ill. Business could only be harmed here.

Also, Mondo Burger took further actions by silencing the Good Burger workers who managed to find out about this. People who found out were then sentenced to institutions for the unstable. Such a situation doesn't sound fitting for a kid's show - I can't argue with that - but the actions of a company can occur to immoral degrees. Some businesses won't follow the law as well, which means that other businesses like Good Burger have all of the reason to collect for emotional damages.

Let's say that a number of customers did become ill off of eating the sauce. What if the workers were seriously hurt while they were set in the mental institution? It's not something that debt collection agencies would look fondly at and they would target Mondo Burger for the damages caused. Just like with any industry in the world, there are morally good companies such as R.R.S. and these do excellent work in order to bring payments to the clients which hire them on.

It's safe to say that there's a happy ending in any of these kid's movies during the mid 90's but even so, you look at them differently when you enter adulthood. Even though you shouldn't, there's a good chance that you'll begin to draw correlations to the real world. Your sense of imagination takes a backseat to your common sense. While these movies are meant to be fiction, sometimes you have to wonder just how competitive certain industries can be.
